Barangaroo Pavilion: Welcoming Edge
The sandstone overhangs of Sydney Harbour have long been providing a welcoming edge, of shelter and lookout since the first peoples and through to the more recent memories of visitors on Mrs Macquarie’s Chair.
Many that once existed along the harbour foreshore have been lost.
This design proposes a new form of a rock-shelter by the edge of Barangaroo as part of the experience of the Eora Journey.
