Super-Kurnell Neutrino Observatory

Kurnell, the birthplace of modern Australia, is the landing point of European navigator Captain James Cook.  The proposal celebrates the modern age of scientific discovery with a unique large-scale scientific infrastructure that is at the forefront of space and physics exploration. The site, a decommissioned Caltex Oil Refinery, has left contaminated soils.  An extension to the existing wetland will provide remediation to the site and a buffer between the public and ongoing Caltex operations.
