Dessine ton moi Mirail

Mirail is a notorious immigrant housing precinct built in Toulouse, France post WWII. The high unemployment and low socioeconomic status of the district parallels with the high drug use, violence and poor upkeep of the area.  The design iterations explore low budget strategies to create spaces that people living in these areas desire in such a way that is safe and constructive.  For example, fire pits to control the outbreak of arson.
